Trailhead is a small outworld, feeding arena and connection hub in one PETG body, about 2⅞ × 2⅞ × 1⅜ in.

Its low left-end AA-01 port meets Scout V1 or V2 directly on the table with a Link. No Riser or adapter is needed. The floor inside meets the low entrance so ants can walk in level.

Four standard-height ports connect to Founder, Homestead and Frontier S/L: one higher left-end port, one back port and two front ports. Ramped gate towers lead up from the floor to each high connection.

Start with Scout → Trailhead → Founder using two Links. As that same colony grows, add a Frontier or another nest through a high port. Close every unused port with a Port Plug or Vent Plug; never join unrelated colonies through a shared hub.

The Click Stop acrylic lid slides out the right end, where no port can block it. Trailhead shares its tile lid size with Four Corners. Body and lid are confirmed; choose connection and closure parts separately while final included accessories are confirmed.

A Scout walks in at table height

No Riser at the low port. The floor inside starts low, so the Scout's ants walk straight across.

One low port. Four high ones.

The right end has no port, which keeps the lid free to slide.

Feeding area, or junction

Two jobs, one piece.

  • A small outworld

Feed here, between a Scout and a bigger nest. Water comes from a 16 mm Test Tube & Cotton for now. A Dew Tube for a spare port is planned, not orderable yet.

  • A junction

Join several pieces for one colony: a Scout on the low port, a nest and an outworld on the high ones.

  • Spare ports

Close each with a Port Plug, or a Vent Plug for airflow.

One colony per setup. Keep separate colonies on separate setups.
