Four colonies, each with three spaces of its own: a Scout for the queen, a quadrant of the Four Corners to grow into, and a Frontier S to forage in.
Every Scout sits on a Scout Riser, so its port lines up with the Four Corners. Each quadrant has two AA-01 ports: one takes a Link to its Scout, the other a Link to its Frontier S. The Four Corners comes with four Links and each Frontier S brings its own, so all eight connections are covered.
Each Scout comes with its Tube Plug and each Frontier S with its own plugs, so every opening is closed. There are no test tubes in the kit: bring your queens' tubes, or add Catch Kits to catch and house them. A 3-pack of spare Hydration Inserts lets you swap a clean floor into a quadrant on cleaning day.
One colony's setup, four times over
Every quadrant is set up the same way, turned 90°. Eight Links join them all, and every one comes in the box.

Scout on a Riser
The queen's chamber. The Scout Riser lifts its port to the quadrant's, its Tube Plug closes the tube end until a queen's tube goes in, and its Cover keeps it dark.
Then a Link

A quadrant of its own
The nest. Its own lid, cotton cup and Hydration Insert, with an open moat and double walls between it and the other three.
Then a Link

Frontier S
The foraging area, where you feed. Its Vent Plug goes in the lid feeding port.
Once a Scout is linked, the Port Plug from its box is a spare. Keep it for when a colony moves out of its Scout.
